If a generation of the Application is running and the next scheduled execution of its associated Event occurs, the server does not trigger the Event, causing the Event to miss its scheduled execution time. Imagine for instance, that a daily process requires the arrival of a file from another department. The file-watcher, upon the arrival of any file, will trigger a follow-up process. This application will listen for file changes on a given directory. A file-watcher is a process which monitors a specific directory for the arrival of any files.
